How to Join 4-H
for the Jr. Livestock Show
To be eligible to show at the Dixie or Southwest Jr. Livestock show, exhibitors must be members of FFA or 4-H. FFA membership is taken care of by high school FFA advisors. All other exhibitors should be registered 4-H members.
The 4-H "year" runs with the school year. It begins on September 1st and ends on August 31st of each year. Membership costs $10 per person and lasts the duration of the year. Membership can be used to take part in any 4-H program. You should sign your kids up near the beginning of the project.
Enrollment takes place on the "ZSuite" website. I recommend using a computer rather than a phone to navigate the zSuite website. (It's difficult on a phone because the scrolling menus can get wonky.) The process is fairly self explanatory, but there is a tutorial video.
You will create a family account, then add each child separately (if you have more than one.) There's a dropdown menu where you will scroll to and select "Desert Sky 4-H." That's us. 🙂 Be sure to pay the $10.

FAQ: If you show at the Southwest Jr. Livestock Show don't worry about the 4-H membership expiring right before the show. Sign up in the summer. That is the 4-H "year" that they use for membership for the show.
